- This file can only be used when your router works under Cudy web UI.
- If the router already works under OpenWRT UI, user should restore it to Cudy official firmware first. And then upgrade the router with this firmware.
- How to restore the router to Cudy official firmware? Please read the readme in the file downloaded.

Please bring back the old “https://www.cudy.com/openwrt_software_download” page with the intermediary firmwares that remove the signature check, which then allows flashing the official OpenWRT firmware from the “OpenWRT Firmware Selector” linked above.
The official OpenWRT firmware images can NOT be flashed with the regular firmware you provide, because of the signature check.
cannot flash cudy 1300 with the openwrt file
file is invalid, please fix
Good day. Same here! Downloading the openwrt file for a WR3000 router leads to a .bin file format (not a .zip file) and when trying to flash the router, nothing more than an error message pops up (File is invalid. Please retry.). The router can’t be fished to openwrt.

i try to change firmware to openwrt with file
“openwrt-23.05.3-ramips-mt7621-cudy_wr1300-v3-initramfs-kernel.bin”
but allways says:
“File is invalid. Please retry.”
i need rename .bin file to another name?
