Phenomenon
Some consumers who use AT&T SIM cards have encountered such a problem, the 4G router LED light turns blue (IP obtained), but cannot access the Internet. When opening the webpage, the browser will pop up a message like this:
'AT&T Free Msg: It looks like you want to use data but have none available. You may need to add a data package or change to a plan that supports data for your device. To check your plan and manage your account, login to att.com/myprepaid.'
Solution
Usually this is because you are using a SIM card with a voice and data plan, which is the type of card used for mobile phones. AT&T does not allow this kind of card to be used in routers, so the solution is to call AT&T to change the SIM card to a data-only plan.

I get this message too, but when I put the sim in my phone, the first time i do a web search i get the message too but then i get an sms for an AT&T login. After about 20 seconds the login sms disappears and I can use data on my phone.
