Cudy Launches 4G LTE Wi-Fi Routers with New Design

Shenzhen, China — Cudy launched new 4G LTE Wi-Fi routers with new casing designs. There are seven new models in total, including routers with or without VoLTE/VoIP voices functions. Their 4G specs go from the entry-level 4G LTE Cat. 4 to 4G+ LTE-Advanced Pro Cat. 12, providing the market with more high-performance 4G router options. 

The New Design: A Symphony of Function and Beauty

"The need for mobile high-speed connections keeps increasing," said Reed Liu, the chief product manager at Cudy, "our 4G Wi-Fi routers LT series are getting so popular in places that require fixed wireless access, and our customers ask for a new design to compliment a light wood home decor."

In contrast to previous Cudy LT products' sharp-edge designs with external antennas, Cudy designers took a soft approach that gives the new casing a standing placement with rounded corners, which enables the engineer to hide most antennas within the body. The ventilation grid down the front and on the top allows optimal airflow throughout the machine, ensuring the device performs as stable as its counterpart with larger footprints. A row of LED indicators echoing the ventilation grid lets users check the network status quickly.

Popular 4G Cat. 4 Cat. 6 Cat. 12 Options

The four new models cover the most popular 4G LTE standards, from the standard 4G LTE Cat. 4 to the faster 4G+ LTE-A Pro Cat. 12.

The LT400E and LT500E, with their Nano SIM slot, allow users to connect to the Internet by inserting a SIM card from almost any mainstream carrier. For users who don't have access to a fixed broadband network or who don't want a rigid broadband subscription, getting a standard/pay-as-you-go SIM card and a Cudy LT router to connect whole-home to the internet is a breeze.

In addition to the ease of connecting to the internet, the LT15E and LT700E provide a faster and more stable cellular experience. The cellular technologies under the hood include Carrier Aggregation and MIMO. With Carrier Aggregation, congestion on any single carrier band will not affect the smoothness of the connection. Additionally, 4×4 MIMO allows the router to establish up to four streams to the signal tower, improving reliability.

LT15E includes two detachable cellular antennas within the package, allowing users who don't have a good cellular signal within their home to have better signal quality. According to the test report from Cudy lab, LT15E provides full cellular speed in an optimal signal environment even when the detachable antennas are disconnected. 

Variant Models with Voice Functionality

Cudy also provides variants LT400V, LT700V, and LT15V with voice function via the RJ11 port, which is helpful for users who wish to connect an analog phone to make use of the VoLTE function within the SIM card plan. These models are also required by ISPs and FWA operators who seek to provide more voice services for their users.
